We are located three miles from the heart of Rhinebeck, a historic town packed full of fine dining, antique stores and one-of-a-kind shops, an active arts community and big seasonal events. The village features some of the best shops and markets that the area has to offer, but exploring the greater Hudson Valley can also reap great rewards. The historic Mills, Roosevelt, and Vanderbilt mansions and Olana are a short drive away; the grounds are great for afternoon walks and picnics with spectacular views of the Hudson River. There are many beautiful golf courses within a short 15 minute drive from the farm. The Red Hook Golf Course and Dinsmore are less than 6 miles away. Freshwater lakes and the Hudson River offer swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing, and there is a network of trails for hiking and biking. Many fun afternoons can be spent exploring our local wineries, breweries and distilleries, which offer tours and tastings. If you’re not looking to venture far from the farm, within walking distance are the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center, which offers locally-produced events year-long, and the Rhinebeck Tennis club adjacent to the farm. In the summer and fall, the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome located just down the road offers shows on the weekends and walking tours daily.
