Rhinebeck has wonderful shops,
galleries, antique stores and fine restaurants.
Attend the
Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center adjacent to
our farm and offering entertaining events
throughout the entire year, or play tennis at
the nearby Rhinebeck Tennis Club. The
historic mansions of the Mills, Roosevelt and
Vanderbilt's are a short drive away, with their
views of the Hudson River, they are spectacular
and ideal for afternoon walks and picnics. Fresh
water lakes offer swimming, boating, canoeing,
kayaking and fishing. Hiking and biking trails
are numerous. Wineries offering tours and
tastings are a fun for the afternoon. The Old
Rhinebeck Aerodrome located just down the
road offers shows on the weekends and walking
tours daily, through the summer and fall
seasons. Come and relax and enjoy!

WYOMING ROOM
Wyoming is a large private romantic suite with panoramic views. It is
furnished with a queen-size handmade pine four poster bed and pine
furnishings. An Olde Towne antique canoe is hung over the corner
fireplace and sitting area. Tucked in a corner, a red antique iron
twin bed,comfy for curling up with a good book. The generous bath has
French doors and a large relaxing whirlpool tub. This room has a
private patio, a place to view nature and the farm horses.

JUNIPER ROOM
The original master bedroom, is a favorite of many guests. Situated on
the north secluded side of the house, with sliding glass doors and a
deck facing the north woods. Furnishings of antique cherry and a
handmade quilt displayed on the west wall compliment the cherry
queen-size four poster bed covered in a red and black buffalo check
comforter. Indian blankets in bright colors cover the twin bed in the
corner a quiet place to snuggle. The blue tile bathroom is generous in
size and has a regular tile shower.
TUMBLEWEED ROOM
Tumbleweed has a soft warm glow, sunny yellows and floral patterns
complemented by an antique star quilt displayed on the wall over the
queen-size cherry pencil-post bed. An antique mirror on the country
cherry dresser gives the finishing touch to this cozy room. The
PRIVATE bathroom with tub, shower and double sink vanity is across
the hall.

NORTHWIND
(located in the Carriage House)
Our grandest room, has a queen sized bed and all the
amenities, wood paneled walls, cathedral
ceilings, skylights, French windows and
LCD/TV for the DVD/VCR, stereo/tape, CD
player. There's a small writing desk and
plenty of space to relax and renew one's
inner person. The generous bathroom,
detailed in native blue stone and pine has a
whirlpool tub and a separate shower. Outback
is a private bluestone patio with table and
chairs for two.

SUNSET
(located in the Carriage House)
Features include four posted king size bed,
private bathroom with shower, private
patio with tables and chairs for afternoon or
evening relaxing. The perfect spot to enjoy
conversation, a good book or just take in the view.

MORNINGSIDE
(located in the Carriage House)
Spectacular sunrises light the
pine-paneled walls of Morningside. A cathedral ceiling with
skylights arches over your four poster queen-size bed and a
comfortable sitting area in front of the stone fireplace.
There's a stained glass chandelier suspended from the
cathedral ceiling. A rustic but extraordinarily cozy room.
The bath has a Jacuzzi tub and shower. There
is a TV and VCR in the room. This room has a private
bluestone patio, a place to view nature and the farm horses.

THE CARRIAGE
HOUSE
(a short walk from the main lodge)
The renovated Carriage House is rustic in decor with many
modern conveniences. There is a shared kitchen/sitting area,
with an Adirondack table and chairs, a wall of books, magazines
and a comfortable chair for reading. A coffee maker, tea kettle,
microwave and a refrigerator stocked with some refreshments and
snacks are there for your convenience. Please feel free to come
to the main lodge for our dessert table. The rooms have private
patios with tables and chairs for afternoon or evening relaxing.
SWEET
VIOLET ROOM
A most romantic and sunny room has whites, lavenders and green colors.
This room offers a king-size bed with a fluffy floral comforter. A
Birdseye maple vanity, dresser and slant front desk add a charm to the
light and airy atmosphere. The white tile bathroom has an extra
generous shower.
